Welcome to Repair Café NC

During the pandemic, we've gone virtual!

Until it is safe for us to meet again, we are producing online virtual repair events. Join us at one of these upcoming events to watch demonstrations and ask our repair coaches your questions about repair projects you are doing at home.

Upcoming events

Our upcoming Repair Café TV virtual repair events will feature special presentations from several of our repair coaches. Join us for these discussions and demonstrations of common repair challenges and ask questions about your own repair projects.

What do you do with a chair when the leg has come loose? With a toaster that no longer works? Toss it? No way! You can repair it at Repair Café.

We throw away vast amounts of stuff. Even things with almost nothing wrong, and which could get a new lease on life after a simple repair. Lots of people don't consider doing a repair themselves. Knowing how to make repairs is a skill that everyone can learn.

Repair Café is changing all that! We are bringing together people to share skills and solve problems. Valuable practical knowledge is getting passed on. Things are being used for longer and don’t have to be thrown away.

Repairing is better for your wallet and better for the environment. But most of all, Repair Café just wants to show how much fun repairing things can be, and how easy it often is. Join us and discover how much fun fixing can be!
